The Gcoins are an global currency, which you can buy events (Gamster War Events in lobbies) and kits in BuildFFA at this moment. It is unclear if you can buy more stuff in the future.
You can obtain them through voting the server (/vote), getting all the Qubes (Heads) in the lobbies or by buying a rank/product via gamster shop.
