Issue - scam using [ /cp ] command

Benefits/why is useful - so many people who got scammed by people using /cp
they are saying /cp funnygame /cp rewards and some people who aren't informed what does /cp means are doing that and losing their accounts players also sometimes write [ /cp message ] instead of [ /pc message ] which couses trouble, e.g they are asking staff to give their acc back and etc..
All i want to say is to remove /cp command and only keep /changepassword which reduces account scam issues.

mentioned issue is global and i would be happy if owner takes my advice

In reality, you should never blindly run any command provided by another player — whether in-game or on any system. The responsibility lies with the user to evaluate what they are executing.


Even in the case of this /cp command example, the "leak" of the password is not an inherent vulnerability — it's a result of the user themselves executing an unsafe command. This is no different from someone on the internet telling you to run an unknown command in your terminal — it comes down to basic security hygiene: don’t run untrusted code or commands.


Thus, I do not see this as an actual security issue with the system itself. The main lesson here is: never trust and run arbitrary commands — not on Gamster, not on your PC, not anywhere.

You should 3x read the commands you run in the chat!

And even if you change it you can still open the chat and use the arrow keys to get the password you set!

Thats just suggestion and if you don't, so many players are losing passwords like that. I appreciate your advices anyway!

Hello,

Thank you for your suggestion. This feature has already been implemented and is currently available on the server.
What I mean by this is that we have a "system" in place to prevent scammers from trying this.
