The permanent ban is mostly given when one is blatantly cheating. There is no reason for being upset because someone received a permanent penalty based on an action made without being forced to. The people should only be upset because they chose to cheat.
The Rules are pretty clear and every illegal action is punished as presented.
If you or someone else think the received penalty was exagerated or wrongly received, you can always submit an unban request. Even if you actually cheated, the staff can grant an Unban if you meet certain requirements.
The main advice is DO NOT CHEAT!
If it is not the first time you cheat and get caught, if you still want to play on the server you can pay an unban fee.

The punishments are adapted based on the gravity of the situation. If a staff member decided to place a punishment at this severity it means that you had an offensive behaviour regarding a specific staff member.
It is not fair to abuse someone.
As i stated in the earlier response, you can always submit an unban request admiting the violation and try to make up with what you said firstly by apologising.
