I suggest tweaking and adding a few things about how the Hide and Seek gamemode works.
-1 : Firstly, I'd like to adress the map selection ; I have recently discovered how map selection works via "/has l" and it would give a better playing experience for everyone to change it to a random selector. Currently, you will be sent to the first map available following this order : City, Hotel, Keep. Lotus, MoreFrozen, Oasis, Village, Downtown. So if there is very few player, you will always be playing on one of the first four. I played for nearly three months and never saw Downtown until I used /has l. Every map should have an equal chance to come up.
-2 : add a taunt system for hiders ; Taunts would be accessible from an item menu like the disguise changer and would offer a selection of different taunts each one rewarding accordingly to how loud/visible it is and with a cooldown like fireworks.
-3 : Harm potion/ arrows regeneration ; Seekers get four harm potions to dislodge hiders but most players them all at once and waste them, rendering them almost useless to their team. My idea is that you now have a maximum of three potions but you gain one back after 30-45 seconds as long as you have less than the maximum. For the arrows, we go to the hiders side, 16 arrows isn't enough and you go through them fairly fast. I think killing a seeker should give back 5-8 arrows.
As for now it's all I thought about.
I'm sure such changes can make the gamemode and it's players better just by being more genuine to play and funnier.
I think these ideas would change the Hide and Seek experience for the better, making it more enjoyable to the average player who hasn't purchased all perks or doesn't know about all the game mechanics and thus make them stay.
