Bring Back the Old Hide and Seek Mode or Add Both Versions


3. How do you think this proposal would benefit the community?
Many players believe that the old Hide and Seek mode was more enjoyable and engaging to play. Giving players access to the old version again, or allowing them to choose between the old and new versions, could bring back many former players and increase activity in the gamemode.


4. Why do you believe this proposal is useful?
Since the changes were introduced, the number of players in Hide and Seek has noticeably decreased. In previous years, especially during this time of the year, it was common to see 30–50 players online in the mode, sometimes multiple times per day. Currently, those numbers are rarely reached.


This opinion is shared not only by me but also by many active and experienced players, including several players from the Top 10 leaderboard. Some long-time players have already stopped playing Hide and Seek because of these changes, while others play much less frequently than before.


Restoring the old version or offering both versions could help increase player retention and overall activity on the server.

I agree with everything you said. I've been playing for over a year and the game is only getting worse.

Besides the hackers, now there's a bug that prevents veteran players from starting matches.

I tried contacting all the moderators to solve the problem, but nobody does anything. They just say they'll fix it and nothing happens. The /support command doesn't even work for me anymore, no moderator responds on Discord, and the game gets worse every day.

My support ticket about the hackers was closed without a response. I don't know what else to do.

I'd like them to add both versions of Hide and Seek for a while—the new one and the old one. That way, they could see which version attracts more players, and maybe keep the one people enjoy more as the permanent mode. That would make a lot of sense.

Thank you for the suggestion! This is something we've discussed internally, but it's difficult to give a definite answer right now.
We'll continue monitoring feedback and may revisit the idea in the future if it fits the direction of the server.
